Rum is an alcoholic drink that is obtained by Brewing and can be consumed by players. Its purpose is to gain potion effects such as fire resistance and resistance without having to use a potion stand.

Drinking Rum can have both positive and negative effects on the player, similar to the effects of potions. Positive effects are common.

Positive Effects: Edit

• Fire Resistance
• Resistance

Negative Effects:Edit

• Instant Damage
• Poison
• Poison 3
• Nausea
• Blindness
• Instant Death

Note that consuming a Terra Wart after drinking Rum will remove all negative affects with the exception of blindness.

Brewing Rum:Edit

1. 

   Craft the Empty Booze Barrel and place it in a Scaffold
2. Right click the Barrel with 32 Sugar Cane.
3. Wait approximately 6 Minecraft Days, or one hour.
4. Right click with Treetap.
5. Right click with Stone Mug

If you want a recipe that turns out instantly, try "The Dastardly Dragon" consisting of 5 canes, or the "Drunken Swab" with 1 cane. Take out immediately.

Bugs:Edit

Blindness will not work on some items, but will not bug on lava(even in pipe) and chests.
