Apatite is a phosphate mineral and produced and used by biological micro-environmental systems. The primary use of apatite is in the manufacture of Fertilizer - it is a source of phosphorus. It is occasionally used as a gemstone.

ConfigurationEdit

Generation of apatite ore can be manually disabled by editing the following line in config/forestry/base.conf:

 # set to false to force forestry to skip generating own apatite ore blocks in the world
world.generate.apatite=true

If you disable ore generation it is also recommended that you set the following to false to release the blockid for the ore block. However doing so can damage pre-existing worlds!

 # set to false to force forestry to release the block id for apatite ore (recommended if you are not using it)
world.register.apatiteBlock=true

DepositsEdit

Occurs up to slightly above sea level but is not found in the deepest depths. Up to eight blocks can be found in a vein.

DropsEdit

Apatite ore drops one Apatite Gem per block.

Note: the fortune enchantment does NOT make it drop more apatite gems.
