Apatite is an ore added by the Forestry mod. It can be found on almost every level, from the highest peaks to the lowest caverns.

You can find 8 apatite ore in one vein.

When apatite was still a part of Tekkit (before Forestry was removed), it's only use was as a fertiliser. It wasn't compatible with Equivalent Exchange, so therefore didn't have an EMC value, thus meaning it couldn't be used in an Energy Condenser or a Transmutation Tablet to be turned into other items.

Many people when mining didn't bother to gather it due to it's uselessness, unless they were going to use it as fertiliser for Forestry.
