Alchemical Coal is the third highest tier of fuel introduced in Equivalent Exchange. It can be obtained through a Philosopher's Stone and is a necessary component of Mobius Fuel. It burns four times longer than Coal. Alchemical Coal can be used to power Dark Matter Furnaces, Red Matter Furnaces, and all Power Items introduced by Equivalent Exchange.

It will not act as fuel for non-mod furnaces (ie. Vanilla, RP2, IC2), Steam Engines or Tunnel Bores.

It has a total of 512 EMC making it enough to make silver.
